The term "glowing" is thrown around rather loosely when it comes to pregnant women but with Lauren O'Donnell Teasdale there was no denying it. The confident quietude, the kindness, the wisdom and fiery spirit for which I have always loved this woman only seemed to grow along with Arden Bear, and now that he's born, those same qualities protect and nourish him as he hungrily figures out the world around him. It was not just Lol's spirit but her body too that shone, adopting a strength and ease of being that I've never really seen before. It was one of my greatest photographic and personal pleasures to capture all this woman-ness.
