Simone & Jacob, The Thatch House

When pigs fly… This was the date Simone and Jacob imagined themselves getting married and when pigs did indeed fly, they flew high! Every so often surroundings, sunlight and love come together just so, and we are gifted with a wedding that embodies all the goodness this world has to offer. Simone and Jacob’s union at The Thatch House was one such occasion, surrounded by the soft pastel colours of the Hemel en Aarde Valley, crisp-clean sunlight, and a love so full of depth and gentle humour that you cannot help but smile in its presence. Simone floated, almost flew, down the isle, eyes fixed on her man as an excited smile crept its way further and further into the corners of her lips. At the sight of his woman, sparkling in her fairytale gown, Jacob had to fight back tears, held steady by his kind and compassionate groomsmen. This mix of jubilant tears and laughter, cocooned by the love of friends and family, set the tone for the day, allowing everything to unfold with beautiful honesty and an incredible amount of heart. Simone and Jacob, what a pleasure you two are. May your life together continue just as as magically as it started.
